Directions

From 270 South: Take the Democracy Boulevard East exit. Turn left onto Fernwood Road, then turn right into the parking lot at the first light.

From Virginia: Take 495 North to 270 North, then take the Democracy Boulevard East exit. Make a left onto Fernwood Road, then a right turn into the parking lot at the traffic light.

From Silver Spring: Take 495 South to 270 North to the Old Georgetown Road exit. Make a left turn at the light onto Old Georgetown Road, then turn right onto Democracy Boulevard. At the second light turn right onto Fernwood Road, then at the first light turn right into the parking lot.

There is an hourly fee for parking.

Directions

From Gaithersburg: Take I-270 North toward Frederick. Exit at 13B Middlebrook Road West and merge onto Middlebrook Road. Make a right at the intersection of Middlebrook Road and Germantown Road/MD 118N. The Shady Grove Adventist Medical Center will be on your immediate right.

From Damascus: Take MD 27 South to I-270 South toward Washington. Exit 15B-A to merge onto Germantown Road/MD 118 South toward Germantown. Make a U turn at Middlebrook Road and the Shady Grove Adventist Medical Center will be on your immediate right.

From Clarksburg/Frederick: Take 1-270 South to Exit 15B-A to merge onto Germantown Road/MD 118 South toward Germantown. Make a U turn at Middlebrook Road and the Shady Grove Adventist Medical Center will be on your immediate right.

There is ample parking available.

Directions

Our office is located in the Penthouse Suite of the Chevy Chase Lake Building. We are conveniently located at the corner of Chevy Chase Lake Drive and Connecticut Avenue. Above ground parking provided by Colonial Parking. First hour is free.

From Rockville Pike, go East on Strathmore Ave. Strathmore becomes Knowles. Turn right on Connecticut Avenue. Depart MD-185 S/Connecticut Ave toward Warner St. Turn left onto Chevy Chase Lake Drive.

From 495 (Beltway), exit Connecticut Avenue and go South. Make a left onto Chevy Chase Lake Drive and then an immediate left into our parking log.

From University Boulevard or upper Connecticut Avenue, go South on Connecticut Avenue.  Turn left at Chevy Chase Lake Drive. Take a left into our parking lot.

There is an hourly fee for parking. First hour is Free. Valet available.


Appointments

When scheduling an appointment, please be prepared to tell the receptionist the reason for your visit so that we may set aside the appropriate amount of time. If you have an emergency, inform us immediately so that we may see you as quickly as possible. If you find that you are going to be late or cannot keep an appointment, please notify us as soon as possible. Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a fee.

Inclement Weather

If the weather conditions are questionable, please contact the office to verify the status of your appointment.

Prescriptions

For your protection, except in the case of emergency, prescription refills will be handled only during regular office hours. You may have your pharmacy call us directly or you may call us at the office with the information. For ongoing prescriptions, please alert us or your pharmacist a few days prior to running out to prevent a lapse in your medication.

Except in the case of an emergency, we will require 24-hours notice to process your prescription request.

Referral Policy

Many insurance plans require referrals that need to be obtained prior to any visit with a specialist. Referrals will be mailed to the patient or can be picked up from the office. Except in a medical emergency, we will not fax referrals. Referrals cannot be back-dated, as this violates the agreement that has been made with your insurance company. We are not responsible if your specialist allows you to see them without the proper referral.

Except in the case of an emergency, we will require 48-hours notice to process your referral.
